Joan Lenes came and talked with us about being in the House of Representatives

Today Representative Joan Lenes came in and talked to our class, Bob's class, Mrs Crowther's class, and Vasanthi's class about serving in the House of Representatives. We talked about the sugar tax and other subjects related to the government. Joan Lenes taught us a lot. It was an amazing experience.

Making informational books on famous Vermonters

For the past five or so weeks we've been working on informational books about famous Vermonters. Some of our books are about Thomas Davenport or John Deere. Others are about Lucy Terry Prince and Lila Vanderbuilt Web. Here is Lewis's finished book on Thomas Davenport:
